GME membership

GME's membership structure aims to attract a mix of local, regional and international market participants to the Exchange. To ensure transparency in the membership admissions process, the criteria for membership is contained in the GME Rulebook and applications for membership are reviewed by the GME Markets committee. In addition to meeting the GME membership criteria, all members need to be authorised, recognised or otherwise permitted by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA).

GME currently offers Off-Floor Memberships and Clearing Memberships.

Apply for Clearing Membership

A GME Clearing Membership has a pre-requisite to be a NYMEX clearing member.
The Clearing Membership has an application fee of $7,500 and then a yearly membership fee of $12,000 (pro-rated in first year).

Apply for Off-Floor Membership

An Off-Floor Membership entitles the member to be charged reduced fees for both trading and physical delivery via GME as per the schedule

An Off-Floor Membership has a one-off cost of $350,000 with an application fee of $7,500 plus a yearly membership fee of $12,000.
